High magnification made possible by the exoscope

The 8:1 optical zoom ratio ensures magnification of a specific surgical field area without loss of quality or resolution. A guiding laser supports instant focusing, enhanced by the autofocus function. The HawkSight optical system provides up to 110x magnification (at a working distance of 200 mm on a 55-inch monitor). The field of view is illuminated by an ultra-bright, long-lasting LED light source.

Based on proven surgical microscope principles

HawkSight is built on a functional microscope stand featuring the legendary Mitaka Kohki counterbalance suspension system. The unique arm design enables observation from multiple angles. Its unprecedented working distance range allows the microscope head to be positioned from 100 cm above the surgical field down to just 20 cm. The minimum distance is especially useful when maximum magnification and resolution are required for access to deep anatomical structures.

The true heart of the digital microscope

Specially designed for the HawkSight exoscope, the dual camera system with four sensors per camera delivers outstanding 4K3D resolution. Particular attention was given to the common challenge of red color reproduction. A dedicated prism enables the sensors to accurately capture the dynamic range of red tones, visualizing both primary and subtle variations. The result is realistic anatomical imaging without loss of clinically significant details.

More Than an Exoscope. Three Fluorescence Modules.

This microscopic system is the first in the world to allow simultaneous visualization of visible and infrared light using a single camera. Invisible light waves reaching the ultra-sensitive sensors are precisely filtered through dedicated prisms and amplified, enabling low-noise infrared imaging or overlaying it onto visible-light images. Bright 4K3D visualization is available in all modes.
